Herbal Valerian Tea
Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) is a complex herb, containing over 120 compounds. Despite this complexity, it has no negative side effects. This tea has two primary uses, being sleep and anxiety.
A powerful anti-anxiety herb that has sedative effects on the body and mind, without any drowsiness or addictiveness. We’ve had very positive feedback for this one!
This is the root of the Valerian plant. Be warned, not all herbal teas taste good and there’s no way around it – this tea is for benefit and not taste! Add honey if the taste is a little too strong.
That being said, many cats LOVE valerian. Try experimenting with tying some up in a cloth for a whole new kind of toy for your cat!
