Our Pregnancy Tea contains Nettle, Rose, Peppermint, Chamomile, Melissa (Lemon Balm) and Raspberry Leaf – all known to be nourishing in ways that are beneficial during pregnancy.
The star of the show is Raspberry Leaf, which is the most popular and well known ingredient for soon to be mothers at this crucial time.
This leaf has been shown to aid against morning sickness, may help prevent miscarriage, contains essential nutrients such as Vitamin C, E, A and B complex, calcium and Iron. Tones and prepares the uterus, and in many cases helps to reduce pain during labor.
NettleĀ can aid against leg cramping and aid kidney function, along with containing many of the above vitamins too. There is some controversy revolving around nettle extract, and fresh nettle so we advise reading this post first for more information.
MelissaĀ is a mood booster known to fight baby blues.
Chamomile, Rose and Peppermint are for relaxation and nausea.
Don’t forget that Ginger and/or Peppermint Tea can fight nausea during pregnancy and are both safe to be consumed!
