We’ve been sourcing beautiful coffees through Testi Coffee since 2018. Founded by Faysel Yonis, Testi runs 20 washing stations in Ethiopia and buys coffee from independent farmers at fair and sustainable prices. Testi’s objective is to build long-term relationships with both growers and buyers by establishing transparent business practices and providing exceptional coffees.

This lot was grown by 500 small-scale farmers who grow coffee in the hills surrounding Testi’s Huke washing station in the Yirgacheffe region. The elevation of the farms (around 2100m) paired with the area’s cool climate slows the maturation of the coffee cherries, leading to denser beans and sweeter, more complex cup profiles.

When we asked Faysel what he’s most proud of in his work, he told us, “I’m most proud of delivering quality. When you’re happy, I’m proud.” And, indeed, this clean and complex coffee make us very happy! We hope you love it as much as we do.
