Organically Grown in Sri Lanka

Regardless of whether you are an avid or an occasional tea drinker, you are sure to enjoy the soothing and calming effects of hibiscus tea. As a leading distributor of hibiscus tea in Australia, you can rest assured that when you place your order through Tea Life, you will receive nothing but the highest quality product to indulge in any time of day.

When making your tea, our recommendation is to add one to two teaspoons of the dried hibiscus flowers to one cup of water. You can easily consume up to three cups of tea per day and enjoy the soothing and healthy results.

BREWING

  1. Place 1-2 whole (or the equivalent of ) hibiscus flowers within strainer and then add boiling water. You should see the flowers release a red to purple color.
  2. Allow the hibiscus tea to steep for approximately 1 minute. Brew the tea longer for a stronger flavor or for a shorter period for a lighter tea.

CAUTIONARY

Marked as ‘possibly unsafe’ during pregnancy.

“To lower blood pressure, health professionals with the University of Michigan Health System recommend infusing 1 cup of water with 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried hibiscus flowers. You can consume up to three cups of hibiscus tea daily. Alternatively, drinking one 500 milliliters serving of hibiscus tea each day before breakfast may also help to lower your blood pressure levels.”
