2 reviews for 4 x Organic Australian Raw Honey 500g
Purchased the 500g Organic Raw Honey. It’s nice and thick, not light and runny like some honey you get in the supermarket. Sweet but not sickly sweet. Feels grainy on the tongue due to crystalisation but that’s what I like. I did wonder how did they get their honey certified organic as I was told (by sellers who don’t sell organic honey) that honey can’t be certified organic as bees are free to fly anywhere. Well, I took the trouble to check out this seller’s website and they actually have an answer to this question there. They said that their bee hives are constructed from certified organic materials and are located outside a 5km radius of all non-organic normal farms & agricultural land. – Review posted by Mims on Amazon AU
I recommend buying a bigger jar of delicious real honey (cold extracted), as it lasts a good deal longer and is better value for money. If you try this product for the first time, or try a new flavour in a small jar and like it, you could then buy a much bigger jar and save in the long run. Keep in mind that there is no substitute for a glass jar. To illustrate this point, I took some tea leaves from their tin to the office (we have hybrid working) in a plastic storage box. It didn’t take long for the taste of the tea to be ruined. So I do recommend a glass jar, not a plastic bottle, but it’s up to you. I am a happy customer. — Review posted by Gail on Amazon AU
