Another strong and dark pu’er that comes with a familiar distinct pu’er scent and taste with variations between different years and harvests, with this particular Pu’er being a 2017 harvest from within Yunnan.
Carrying the name ‘imperial grade’, these leaves are of a much higher quality and larger than your standard pu’er and leave a slightly sweet after taste.
2017 refers to the production date and much like Wine, Pu’er becomes more prized with age due to the fermentation process.

Bring water to near boil, 90 degrees. For first infusions, 20 seconds. Steeping too long on first infusion will produce a bitter flavour. For further infusions, increase each time by around 30 seconds up to 2-3 minutes.
